Polyglutamic acid 10K-GSNO/PGA10k-GSNO is a biodegradable nitric oxide (NO) donor polymer conjugate, in which S-nitrosoglutathione (GSNO) is incorporated into poly(r-glutamic acid) with an average molecular weight of ~10 kDa.
PGA10k-GSNO was incorporated into a hydrogel matrix for localized NO release in wound healing applications, showing enhanced antibacterial effects and tissue regeneration.
