Product description
Glutathione (GSH) ethyl ester(C12H21N3O6S,335.4) is a cell-permeable derivative of GSH,a nucleophilic co-substrate to glutathione transferases.It increases mitochondrial GSH levels in C38 and IB3-1 epithelial lung cystic fibrosis cells when used at a concentration of 10 mM.2 GSH ethyl ester (10 mM) decreases reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels and TNF-α-induced IL-8 secretion in IB3-1 cells.
