mPEG2k-CHHHEHEHHEH-COOH/CH3-PEG2000-CHHHEHEHHEH-COOH/mPEG2000-CHHHEHEHHEH-COOH is a pH responsive amphiphilic PEG peptide derivative that retains the non-specific adsorption properties of mPEG2000. The histidine residue in the middle can undergo protonation in acidic environments, achieving pH sensitive response. It is commonly used as a nano drug carrier for constructing tumor microenvironment response, improving the selective release efficiency of nucleic acids and chemotherapy drugs at the tumor site, and reducing the toxic side effects of normal tissues.
